Thanksgiving Day

We all know that there is a football game that is televised that guys in most families watch, while mostly it’s the women that cook a wonderful holiday meal to be shared and enjoyed by there family and loved ones. One of the most traditional festivities is the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This parade has been a Thanksgiving Day tradition that has been around for a long time, and it something that most Americans watch every year like clock work. This year for some it’s going to be more difficult than it has been in the past.

Some like to play a game of football in their own yards if the weather is nice. Cooking the big thanksgiving meal is the main festivity for this holiday. What it depends on is how you decide to do on this holiday, which is not hard and not that expensive either. There are festivities that will be going on in your area. Your local news media will be mentioning a couple of weeks before what will be taking place. You can also look for ideas online too to make your Thanksgiving one to be remembered. This goes for first timers and those who already know what to expect.

The best part of Thanksgiving is that you get to spend time together and eat delicious food. Being Thankful that everyone that you share this holiday with is health and happy and able to be together. On Television there are Thanksgiving specials and movies on all day too. For football fans it’s the one day that there is a game that is not on Sunday or Monday. Every year the Peanuts have a holiday cartoon with Charlie Brown and Snoopy which everyone enjoys seeing.
